At NC State University, as at many US institutions of higher education, the numbers, diversity, and visibility of multilingual students, both US residents and international students, continue to grow. Dr. Michelle Cox of Cornell University, whose scholarship focuses on support for multilingual writers across the curriculum, will explore the challenges these writers face as they negotiate the complexities of doing college in English in the US and approaches for creating linguistically and culturally inclusive campus cultures.
