Dr. Taylor has been visiting campuses across the country and especially in the Carolinas to stress the importance of digital literacy in our classes. We’re excited to have him join us and share his expertise at NC State.
The workshop will consist of about 30-60 minutes of discussion/presentation about the importance of digital literacy and how it can fit into our curriculum. The second half of the workshop will involve hands-on practice and exploration of digital literacy tools. Please bring a laptop for this hands-on portion. You don’t need any special software for this: Todd will be demonstrating software available through an ordinary web browser (though he recommends Chrome). At least one of these programs is free to faculty and students.
