This event, “Supporting Graduate Student Writers” will be facilitated by Dr. Shannon Madden, Shenita Denson, and Dr. Mike Carter of The Graduate School.
The event is for all faculty across campus who work with graduate students and who would like to learn a bit more on how to offer support for their writing. The interactive discussion will include strategies for communicating discipline-specific writing conventions and expectations, mentoring graduate students, and incorporating writing instruction in graduate courses.
